For the comfort of all guests the lodge is a no smoking zone and we do not accept pets.

The park also has a indoor pool*, sauna* and gym*, and there is cycle hire* and tennis courts*.

The privately owned pine lodge is situated in a lovely part of a holiday park - within the tranquil and quiet woodlands where, if you are lucky, you may see wild deer but you are sure to see many wild rabbits and birds. On warm summer evenings you can dine on the veranda or just sip a glass of wine.

*Facilities would incur additional charges which would be payable to the holiday park.

Local Area Information

The Lake District attracts tourists from round the world who are drawn to its spectacular scenery. Whether you want to walk, visit historic buildings, shop, or do something more adventurous then the Lake District has something for everyone.

The local Tourist Information Offices are at Windermere, Bowness and Ambleside. The National Park Information Centre is at Brockholes, just a short walk from the lodge. Here you can pick up a range of leaflets detailing what to see and what to do in and around the Lakes. In the meantime we have compiled a short list of some nearby attractions.

Grizedale Forest provides an abundance of nature trails, mountain cycle paths and picnic areas and has a famous Sculpture Trail. Excellent guides to the forest can be bought from the Grizedale Visitor Centre. For the adventurous you can "Go Ape" on an aerial assault course high in the forest's trees.
