Oak Cottage is situated on the edge of Fort William's town centre, just 5 minutes walk from the pubs and shops. It offers comfortable self-catering accommodation for up to 6 people. The house sits in an elevated position in a mature garden and has views North and East looking up the Great Glen towards Inverness. The footpath into Glen Nevis passes close by across the burn which runs through the garden.

The accommodation comprises an open plan lounge/dining area. There are 2 double bedrooms and one twin bedded room. The bathroom and shower room are situated on the ground floor. There is a fully fitted, modern kitchen.

Local Area Information

Fort William is now being hailed as the Outdoor Capital of the UK and with the foot of Ben Nevis only only a short walk away this is a popular all year round holiday area. The scenery is also breathtaking. It is an excellent touring base with Glencoe, Skye, Loch Ness and Oban being easily accessible.

During the summer the Jacobite Steam train follows the famous "Road to the Isles" crossing the Glenfinnan viaduct which was seen in the Harry Potter movies. There are many and varied attractions to suit all visitors.
