Gîtes de La Vironne
The property, which adjoins the owner's house, comprises of three self contained gites each sleeping 6 / 7 persons.

The 3 spacious gîtes are heated and comprise of

Kitchen fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer and cooker
Dining area
Lounge with TV, video (videos available to hire), hi-fi and sofa bed
One bedroom with a double bed
One bedroom with a double bed and one single bed
Shower room and WC.
One of the gîtes has an extra child's bed and all three have a cot and highchair. Bed linen and towels are provided (guests are asked to supply their own pool towels). There are washing machines on site for which there is a charge.

Outside:
There is a large swimming pool (5m x 12m) with a barbecue and sheltered terrace; the gardens, with volleyball, badminton, boules, table tennis and children's play area are for you to enjoy at your leisure.

Location
Clermont Ferrand, known as the capital of this beautiful region is just an hour away as is Theirs, Vichy and Issoire all with their own attractions.

Activities
There is plenty to do in the Auvergne, something for all tastes, the choice is yours.

It is outstanding mountain biking, horse riding, hiking and mountain climbing country. There are lakes where you can swim, sail and windsurf, others that are good for fishing, bait, fly or spinning and white water rafting and kayaking through the gorges of the Allier and Souille rivers accompanied by experienced instructors. You can do paragliding and ballooning over the mountains. There are some excellent golf courses throughout the region too.

From spring until late autumn there are numerous Brocantes (car boots/ flea markets), country fetes, street theatre, folk dancing and carnivals. Market day in Cunlhat is Wednesday and a Thursday in Ambert.

You may prefer something a little less energetic – sit by the pool at La Vironne with a good book, a glass of wine and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of this beautiful region.
