Apartment near Florence - Chalet Agrifoglio


A short distance from the main villa you can find the Piccolo Chalet. Made in hand hewn-stones of the Florence hills the apartments are in an oasis of peace and tranquillity surrounded by pine and cypress trees and holly bushes which give their name to the chalet. There is a shaded terrace in front of the apartments which opens out onto an enchanting view of the cities of Florence and Fiesole both of which are only a few kilometres away. The apartments are a perfect refuge to which you can escape after a busy hot day in the centre of Florence.
The apartments are composed of a living room with modern sofa which converts into a double bed, a double bedroom with doors that open out onto the pine forest, and private bathroom. Right next door there is a well-equipped kitchen.
The Chalet can host from 2 to 3 guests and is ideal for families.
There is private parking where our guests can leave their cars and take the bus from the nearby stop into Florence, avoiding parking costs and traffic tangles

Mugello

The Mugello area is located in one of the most particular mountainous area of Tuscany and counts several sport plants of International importance, such as the International Car Racing Track of the Mugello, the Lake Bilancino, which hosts important sailing events and the 18-holes Golf Club "Poggio dei Medici", which also host the Ladies European Tours.

The mountainous Mugello area extends to the north and east of Florence, and is a scenic area, covered in dense forest criss-crossed with walking paths and gurgling streams. The Mugello has some of Tuscany's prettiest villages and as home of the Medici's still has many Medicean villas.

Chianti Rufina Wine

The Mugello Rufina area is one of Tuscany's lesser known wine producing areas of the Chianti and the Strada del Vino makes for a pleasant trip along the Sieve river visiting the cantine or wine producing outlets where you can sample and buy Chianti bottled wine at reasonable prices. The small town of Rufina is home to the Museo della Vita e del Vino della Val di Sieve (Museum of grape vines & wine of the Sieve Valley).

Fiesole Estruscan Village

Fiesole is a delightful village half way between the Paggeria and Florence. Once home to the Etruscans Fiesole predates Florence in terms of human settlement. Today all that is left of the Etruscans is the Archeological Park that every summer hosts the arts festival Estate Fiesolana, held in the Teatro which dates to the 1st century BC.
