The flat is situated in the Smithton district of the city of Inverness but no more than 10 mins car drive takes you to the centre, however, most of the cities newest shops and amenities are being built in the nearby Business & Retail Park including the existing seven screen Vue Cinema (formerly Warner Village Cinema) and main 24hr Tesco Extra supermarket. There's also a regular bus service every 15 mins up to 5pm and slightly less thereafter and the bus stop is a 5 minute walk at the start of the road. You can buy what we call a "Megarider Plus" bus ticket from Stagecoach this allows you unlimited travel to & from the city for 7 days at a much reduced cost & these can be bought on the bus from the driver.

The accommodation is all electric which is included in the rental price and you have your own off street parking space also all linen & towels are supplied.

More InformationAbout WalkingWe have direct access from our field and garden to open countryside and a network of footpaths. The Calderdale Way long distance path is within 800m of the cottage. As we are keen walkers and cyclists ourseleves, we can offer advice on local routes. There is a selection of local maps and guidebooks in the cottage.About Local RestaurantsThere are many local pubs serving good food, some within walking distance. We can also recommend a select number of restaurants within 15 minutes of the cottage with excellent chef, offering a memorable evening out or for a special occasion.About Airport InformationWe are located about one hour by motorway from Manchester International Airport. There is a direct rail link to Huddersfield, which is fifteen minutes from the cottage. We offer to meet visitors from the train. About Children ActivitiesWe have two acres of wild woodland/heather garden. Children will find the whole garden adventurous with rope swing and rocks to climb. The Eureka Children's Museum in Halifax is 15 minutes from the cottage.
