Loon Lodge in the Allagash is a place where people go to get away from it all. It is a step back in time. Our guests can relax on the porch of their lakefront cabins and watch the beautiful sunsets across the lake.
Moose, deer and bear are your nieghbors and at night you will be lulled to sleep by the call of the loon.
Our cabins are rustic yet very comfortable. Guests can choose to prepare their meals in their own cabins or dine in the rustic atmosphere of a log lodge in the middle of the Northern Maine Wilderness.
Canoes, boats and kayaks are available for our guests to enjoy and hiking trails are in the area.

Local Area Information

The Allagash is one of the last great wilderness areas of the east. Our guests can go fishing for native brook trout and salmon. Hike to numerous places of interest. Our spend the day on the water swimming or boating.

The Allagash is remote country. Our nearest towns (Greenville and Millinocket are both over 75 miles away by gravel road.
