La Turche Hamlet
Chalet Pas de Chèvre is a privately owned chalet built by local craftsmen and completed in January 2004. The chalet is located in La Turche which is at an altitude of 1,230 metres, a small hamlet above the village of Les Gets which is part of the world’s largest ski area, the Portes du Soleil in the Hautes Savoie region of the French Alps.

The chalet offers a very high standard of flexible accommodation for 10 guests. It is 50 metres from a ski and bike hire shop and a similar distance from the local mini supermarket/bakery. Close by is access to the main ski area of Les Gets via a drag lift or a short ski run to the new Les Perriere 6 man high speed chair lift. There is a regular free bus service serving Les Gets centre.
Les Gets is a charming resort village sitting at an altitude of 1,172m in a sunny col between Cluses and Morzine/Avoriaz. It consists largely of traditional chalets and chalet-style hotels and apartments. There are shops and restaurants to suit all tastes, an open-air ice rink and a bowling alley. The night life is modest but lively, with one nightclub and several late-night bars, and the busy market town and ski resort of Morzine is only a short taxi-ride away.

Winter Sports
Les Gets has extensive local skiing shared with Morzine and is also part of the Portes du Soleil ski area, the largest linked ski area in the world. In addition, the resorts of Flaine, Megève and Chamonix are within easy reach for day trips.
