Property Description

Casa Mora is ideally located in Vancouver's Point Grey Village on the west side of the city, near the downtown core and near the University of British Columbia, above Jericho and Locarno Beaches, the city's best west side beaches. Boutique shopping and fine dining are available on West 10th Avenue, only 2 blocks from Casa Mora. Our self-catering suites, The Penthouse and the Garden Suite have private entrances, are fully furnished and fully equipped, including both wireless and direct plug high speed internet access. The Penthouse has views of the North Shore mountains from its cozy north-facing balcony; and views of the garden from the south balcony where you will also find outdoor furniture for lounging and for al fresco dining - a Mexican two seater rocker; wrought and glass table; a BBQ, a Mexican hammock and more. The interior of the Penthouse is beautiful and deluxe, with its high, vaulted ceilings, extra long king size bed, adobe gas fireplace, views, kitchen, large walkin closet, and beautiful bathroom. The Penthouse Suite is very popular with honeymooners, couples looking for a romantic getaway and business guests as well as visiting academics coming to UBC.
Our Garden suite is bright, cozy and has a separate bedroom with a queen size bed. The living area has a loveseat sofa with a single pullout bed. Both suites have phones and local calling is free.
Our Magnolia Room is a traditional Bed and Breakfast room and it is located on the main floor. It has a private en suite bath with tub and shower. Views from the Magolia Room are of our north facing garden. Magnolia Room rates include breakfasts served on the main floor.
Casa Mora has a "Grand Canyon" hot tub in the garden - a great spot for skywatching!


Local Area Information

Casa Mora is Vancouver at its Best! We are located near hiking and jogging trails in the gigantic Pacific Spirit Park, the world's largest inner city park, with stands of giant Fir trees. Rollerblading and skateboarding are popular along 16th avenue, out to the university. Golfing is availabe at the Point Grey Golf course, only 3 blocks away. Watch the amazing sunsets off Jericho Beach, or go sailing or kayaking off Jericho or Locarno or from the Royal Vancouver Yaucht Club, also located nearby. Casa Mora is also an excellent place to stay en route to or on your way home from skiing at Whistler/Blackcomb or on Grouse Mountain, Seymour Mountain or Cypress Bowl. For those who love to shop it does not get much better than the boutique shopping in the Point Grey Village, 2 blocks from Casa Mora. Some of Vancouver's best restaurants are located in the Point Grey Village -- Wabi Sabi, Provence, Enigma and others.
