It is situated in the hamlet of Knapp at the edge of a large wood with miles of walking but just 3 miles from junction 12 of the M3. It is a 15 mins drive from Winchester station (55 mins to London). Southampton Airport is also 15 minutes away. The local bus and train-bus service is close by.

Within a short drive are the New Forest, the cities of Salisbury Winchester, Southampton and Portsmouth, the Solent and Isle of Wight for great sailing plus many great seaside resorts and tourist sights.
