About Weather/Climate/TemperatureCyprus has sun 11 months of the year, we don't have many cold days. Even when it does rain the sun comes out just afterwards, its a very rare thing to get a miserable or overcast dayAbout BarsThere are a few nice bars and restaurants in the village where you can just stroll to and fromAbout NightlifeFor nightlife you need to go to Limassol or Larnaca. Limassol is the nearest, about 20 minutes driveAbout TransportYou really need to hire a car to make the most of this holiday. We are centrally located so you can visit anywhere you like on the island and be back in the evening. You can also get local taxi's if you wish. Public transport is not very good in the village but if you can get someone to drop you just outside the village at the top of the hill at the crossroads you will be able to catch busses there.About BeachesGovernors beach is the nearest and best beach. It has quite a few sandy beaches with quiet little coves and some great restaurants. This is about 5 minutes drive. Zigi fishing villlage is also about 5 minutes drive but not all that good for swimming. What it does offer though is some great fresh fish which you will find in the local fish tavernasAbout FishingYou can obtain a license to fish in the dam and of course if you want to go further afield, you can find deep sea fishing availableAbout WalkingWe have some great mountain trails in Cyprus. If you want a larger selection then its best to go to the large supermarkets in town. Kalavasos also has a bakery, fishmonger and fruit market at the crossroads just outside town
