A friendly and informal B&B located on a quiet street in the centre of Crieff. Our rooms are comfortably furnished and offer a tranquil haven at the end of a days sight seeing. All rooms have tea & coffee making facilities.

We also have an oak panelled guest's lounge, which is availalble throughout the day. Books are available to borrow whilst at Galvelmore House.

We offer a full breakfast, comprising of fruit juice, fresh fruit, cereals or home made apple muesli, full cooked breakfast or a choice of kippers, pancakes or cheese & ham, toast and tea or coffee.

3 course evening meals are available by arrangement, though there are also many restaurants close by.

Local Area Information

This area of Southern Perthshire, only an hour or so from Edinburgh and Glasgow airports is one of little known delight. Its location allows it to be a good base for exploring the area.

It offers a wide variety of walks, from strolls along the river, to a couple of munros. There is even an annual walking festival, The Drovers' Tryst, which takes place in October.

There are many golf courses (18 and 9 hole) within easy reach, along with horse riding, fishing, water skiiing, off-road driving within the area.

The Famous Grouse Experience is just outside of Crieff, an award winning visitor attraction. Drummond Castle Gardens are also spectacular; the gardens which date back to 1630 are a splendid example of parterre. We also have the Crieff Visitor Centre, Stuart Crystal Factory Shop, and Auchingarrich Wildlife Centre.

Crieff is well located for day trips to the surrounding area. You can easily reach Stirling, St Andrews, Edinburgh, Glasgow and the Grampian Mountains. We have even had guests who have managed to visit Loch Ness and make it back to visit Drummond Castle Gardens in a day... too much for me!
