Where is “Little House�

“Little House� is situated in a very beautiful area of Andalusian Spain on the Costa del Sol. We are located approx 500m from the coast and are surrounded in the distance by the Sierra Teleda mountain range, which is occasionally snow capped in winter & spring

We can boast a good climate, with 330+ days of sunshine per year, pleasant winter temperatures and generally clear nights

The residential area where we are based has beautiful green zones, with fir trees, palm trees and fruit trees such as figs, oranges, lemons and pomegranates. These are well maintained areas and are a pleasure to see and walk through

The “Little House� is in the perfect position if you’re looking for peace and tranquillity. A place to unwind, relax and generally have a good time. Being just minutes from the Mediterranean you can enjoy the beach and the sea from March right through to October, even on the sunny days from November through February we enjoy days of relaxation on the beaches, which are many. Being just a short distance to the mountains and Lake Vinuela where there are the most breathtaking views to be seen and enjoyed by those more adventures people

The 18 hole Baviera Golf course is fairly new. It is beautifully designed with tremendous lakes, bird life and a mass of palm trees surrounding the area. This is ideal accommodation for golfers if you want to be close to the greens, but not paying high club rents

On a Saturday Morning we have a street market where you can buy all those great Spanish gifts and local fruit & veg. The local village 5 minutes walk away has bars, restaurants, mini supermarkets, banks, post office etc and a large shopping mall is just 10 min drive away

The possibilities for walks are endless, from a short walk down to the coast or a day’s challenge up to the mountains with a local walking group

Caleta marina nearby is for the sailors amongst us and the local trawlers carrying the daily fish is a sight to see

For the children (and the grown up children) there is the Water park just 10 minutes away in Velez Malaga. This is open June through to September. There are lots of Swimming Pools with rides and day time shows. It is a great day out for those who love water

In Benalmadena, which is about 45 minutes away, is the famous Tivoli Park. This is open all year round and is entertainment to the fullest. With rides for all ages, eating houses, shows and on Sundays a huge outdoor Market. It is well worth a visit

Along the coast on virtually any of the beaches you can enjoy the outdoor life. From water skiing, jet skiing to boating. For those that like more adventure then there is paragliding and small plane flights. Vinuela Lake and Nerja with its famous caves are just 20 minutes drive away with Torrox and Torre del Mar close by. Granada is 2 hours away with the snow skiing season open from November to April
