Set in the soft rolling hills of southern Marche, Il Melograno offers its guests a tranquil and beautiful setting. In the grounds guests can relax by the secluded and panoramic swimming pool and enjoy a variety of activities whilst taking in the views of hilltop villages and the breathtaking backdrop of the Sibillini mountains, or walk and explore the 28 acres on the farm, respecting the various crops and plants and leaving the area as they found it.

The property is quietly nestled in the centre of 28 acres and is surrounded by a recent forestation project started in 2001, with over 4000 trees planted to date. The trees, of many different species, were choosen to attract birds, and thus create a peaceful and natural oasis for our guests to enjoy.

Holistic Massage
We offer holistic massage treatments as Daniel is a fully trained and qualified masseur through the London College of Massage. Guests can choose a tailor-made treatment to suit individuals needs or simply enjoy a relaxing and rejuvenating massage, indoor or outdoor, depending on preference and the season, of course.

Other services
We can assist guests with translations, airport collections, day trips and can offer full-board hospitality to a group wanting to use the premises for a course or retreat. Please contact us with any particular request and we shall endeavor to meet with your requirements.

About the Il Melograno and the organic farm
We started the project `Il Melograno - Agriturismo` back in year 2000. The house was restored using as many original materials possible, such as terracotta floor, ceiling and roof tiles, oak beams, bricks, doors, windows and so on. Now fully restored to a high standard.

The farm has a large fruit grove of approx 1200 trees, including Apricots, cherries, peaches plums and other fruits and berries. Our cherries are picked in late May-early June, the apricots throughout June, with four different varieties. The peaches and plums can be picked from late August to late Sept. We make and sell our own jams, using the organic fruit from the farm.  

We also pick and press our olives, making our own the extra-virgin olive oil, amongst other products such as Jams and marmalade, biscuits, bottled olives and honey.
