Villa Jamera was brand new in 2004 It is constructed to a high standard by a local property developer who retains management of the villa on our behalf It is furnished to a standard you would expect of a luxury home The villa is ideally situated approximately 100 metres above a small cove with smart beach club which offers crystal clear waters ideal for snorkelling There are panoramic views across the bay and towards the harbour The heart of Kalkan village with shops and restaurants is a 10 minute walk away so a car is not essential The villa has three bedrooms one master suite with a small sitting room and ensuite bathroom with bath and separate shower and two further bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms The master and twin bedrooms on the first floor have doors opening onto their own private balconies equipped with table and chairs and enjoying fantastic views across the bay and harbour The ground floor double bedroom opens onto a furnished patio area All bedrooms and open plan living area are independently air conditioned and have fly screens on the doors and windows to prevent unwelcome visitors The kitchen is fully equipped with Bosch appliances cooker dishwasher washing machine and large fridgefreezer For your entertainment Villa Jamera also comes equipped with TV Stereo and DVD player For your added security there is a safe although Kalkan enjoys a virtually zero crime rate All internal flooring is cool marble and the villa is furnished to the standard you would expect of a luxury home The villa boasts a large 36m2 25 x 12ft swimming pool with roman steps at the shallow end and is surrounded by ample terracing for sun loungers and parasols A built in barbeque is adjacent to the pool for al fresco dining at the large outside dining table and there are soft chairs and discreet lighting to sit and relax Villa Jamera also offers a stunning roof terrace with a covered lounge area and additional sunbathing area benefiting from a cooling sea breeze and stunning views This is the perfect place for an afternoon siesta or to view the sun setting across the bay before ambling into the village for your evening meal The villa garden and pool are serviced daily and we can even arrange delivery of fresh bread each morning to save you the walk to the village We can arrange for a taximinibus to collect your party from the airport and take you to the villa The cost is approximately 50 each way for a taxi and 60 for a minibus both airconditioned and the journey takes a maximum of two hours The transfer company will also arrange car hire if required and will deliver to the villa Transfer costs can be paid by cash or credit card

Local Area Information

Once a simple fishing village today Kalkan is quietly sophisticated and postcard pretty The village shops stay open till around midnight and are well stocked with interesting antiques crafts jewellery clothing and accessories Kalkan possesses a multitude of excellent rooftop restaurants offering all manner of culinary delights together with stylish and atmospheric Blues and Jazz bars The narrow streets twist down to the harbour which is the focus of the village and here you can enjoy a meal whilst watching the world go by Kalkan is well positioned for those who enjoy something other than relaxing poolside The village has a small beach and numerous bathing platforms but a short bus or taxi ride reaches Patara with 18km of golden sand and not a single building in sight a worthy rival to Olu Deniz To discover more secluded bays boat trips leave daily from the harbour and cost around 10 lunch included A visit to the trout farms in the hills is a must or those who enjoy shopping can browse around the local markets and shops of nearby towns of Kas or Fethiye The more adventurous can visit the ghost town or walk the gorges Kalkan fulfils every holiday wish
