Fowey is a large beautiful natural harbour ideal for all water sporting activities swimming sailing boating fishing etc and also a commercial port so you have the interest of watching the shipping pass by There are many active clubs in the town including two Yacht Clubs offering facilitiers for members of visiting yachts Large areas of the surrounding coat and country are owned by the National Trust and it is on the South West Coast Path and on one end of the Saints Way Fowey to Padstow Golf courses are within easy distance St Austell Looe Riding Bowls and many tourist attractions are nearby including the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Helligan
