Built in 1905 the cottage style apartment stands in a sleepy picturesque village with views across the Bay of Elounda and mountains beyond A stone staircase leads from the street into a court yard bursting with brightly coloured flowers The living area has the original stone fire place There is a small equipped kitchen with a dining area The first bedroom has two single beds and fire place The accommodation is fully air conditioned The bathroom has a jakuzi style bath The mezzanine floor has the master bedroom with double bed and a terrace with an outside summer kitchen BBQ and dining area with fabulous views of the sea The cottage can sleep up to four adults and is a tranquil base for small families wanting to relax and explore the area There are many good walking trails in the surrounding area and the nearest sandy beach is only a 10 minute walk away The village has two traditional kafeneions and a very good kantina style taverna and nearby Elounda and Plaka have a large variety of tavernas shops and restaurants and boat trips to the Island of Spinalonga
