The villa is located in the quiet unspoilt village of La Pared on the rugged west coast of Fuerteventura La Pared is a haven with no highrise buildings It has a beautiful golden sandy beach Playa del Viejo Rey with excellent surf another beach with black volcanic stones two excellent restaurants a bar a surf school riding school and pitch and putt golf course For calm seas kite surfing and nightlife there is a short sevenminute drive to Costa Calma on the east coast of the island The airport is 50 minutes drive away The village has a very favourable microclimate with average approximate air temperatures in January of 20C and in August of 25C During the summer the northeast Trade Winds ensure a steady cooling breeze There is a wide range of outdoor pursuits available nearby including walking swimming surfing windsurfing horse riding golf quadbiking offroading deepsea angling catamaran and submarine trips The championship golf course at Costa Caleta is 40 minutes drive away There is a public bus service which calls regularly in La Pared
