Away from the crowds and the busy beaches afford the time to appreciate the startling beauty of unspoilt and idyllic Aragons region which provides the perfect climate for true relaxation The enchanted yellow villages nestled on the Spanish hillsides retain a feeling of a quieter and more relaxed way of life Take the family take your friends or simply take yourself and enjoy the bliss of your own pool in your own place Yes private natural pools created by the mountain streams are the perfect way of keeping the kids entertained onsite and offer hours of fun for all Bathe your feet in comfort while you relax or swim in balmy climates If youre looking for an active break and arent afraid of getting wet here we have a wide selection of watersport activities So you can enjoy a morning of energetic activity and then chill out afterwards Mature activities centres can offer great windsurfing canoeing kayaking hydrospeed and sailing from March till September in the regions rivers streams and lakes If youre taking children all the suitable water sport equipment will be provided and there are classes and lessons available for the correct age group In 2004 I bought a lovely 16th Century Traditional Spanish stone walled house in a small village in the prePyrenees region of Aragon in Spain I have fully restored it making a very comfortable and cosy threestorey house that combines medieval charm and 21st century luxury whilst still conserving many of the original architectural elements and features of traditional Aragon The house is situated in the hamlet of Murillo de Gallego about 1 hr from Zaragoza right in the heart of unrivalled Spanish countryside surrounded by wonderful scenery giving you the chance to completely relax and get back in tune with nature whilst living the atmosphere of an authentic Spanish villageThe house 160m2 has 3 bedrooms with wood beam ceilings teak floors in the main bedroom and Spanish terracotta throughout the kitchen living area and bathroom High chair and crib for small children are available on request The house has three bedrooms two double bedrooms and one spacious and open plan bedroom with a handmade wood framed king size bed plenty of closet space and in the living area there is a comfortable double sofabed The house can comfortably sleep eight people it has a very big bathroom an open plan kitchendining and living area with an impressive arch pizza oven that I had sent to me directly from Italy that was built with antique bricks Im a good cook and expert of local products and will be happy to provide a dinner service for a small additional fee If you fancy an Italian evening I am of Italian origin then I can prepare for you traditional Italian pizza cooked in the original Italian pizza oven There is TV DVD surround music system a variety of CDs to suit all tastes DVDs and an extremely well stocked international reading library There is internet access extra cost and if you wish we can provide you with a lap top computer The house has gas central heating installed throughout and ventilators despite the fact that you wont need them as the house is very fresh during the summer months due to the thickness of the old stone walls The house is one of 4 houses in the Calle Medio of a tiny village Murillo de Gallego with just 150 inhabitants immersed and surrounded by spectacular nature and scenery The people in Murillo are very friendly welcoming and the village is very safe children can quite safely play in the main plaza and will surely make friends with the local children The village frequently organises fiestas andor nice meals for everyone living in the neighbourhood you will be made to feel at home joining in these great evenings You are almost travelling back in time in our hamlet of Murillo to village life and values that have long gone lost in this day and age in many parts of the world

Although Murillo is a small village it certainly isnt isolated All amenities are very close for example the stunning village is not far from Loarre Aragons most spectacular and well maintained Romanic castle where film director Ridley Scott shot part of his film Kingdom of Heaven Another breathtaking place to visit are the fantastic pinktinged cylindrical rock formations of los Mallos The pinnacles are extremely popular with climbers and Para gliders whilst the river below swarms with rafters and canoeists and swimmers If you look up in the sky you will certainly see vultures gliding above your head Whilst out walking be careful not to trample any of the regions rarest orchids You have the option of natural swimmingpools secluded from the contamination of our world or you might opt to use the villages brand new swimmingpool Upon request there is a shared private swimming pool that I can arrange for you There are very cheap flights low cost airways to Zaragoza airport which is just 1 hr away Pamplona at 1 30 Barcelona at 3 30 Santander at 2 30 and Pau France at 2 hrs away Dont forget that Frances border is just 1 hour drive from here All travel information will be provided to guests enquiring about the house with the local tours and suggested walking itineraries in the area and recommended sports adventure activities Activities on site and nearby Aragon is a region of great natural beauty ready for adventure It is a paradise for lovers of river lake mountain and aerial sports such RAFTING CANYONING KAYAKING HIDROSPEED CLIMBING MOUNTAIN BIKING PARAGLIDING ULTRALIGHTS TOURS SIGHTSEEING BIRDWATCHING TREKKING HORSEBACK RIDING SWIMMING IN NATURAL SWIMMING POOLS CULTURAL TOURS FISHING SKIING AND MANY MORE
