This one bedroom apartment in Chamonix overlooks the beautiful and tranquil Lacs des Gaillands with a west facing balcony making it the ideal location for relaxing in the summer afternoon and early evening sun The apartment can comfortably sleep 4 people as it has twin beds in the bedroom and a sofa bed with 2 separate singles in the lounge There is a separate WC and in the bathroom the shower and bath have a powerful and plentiful supply of hot water The American style kitchen is fully fitted with hob oven fridge and washerdryer The apt has everything you need for a self catering holiday rental A ski locker is also available It is situated 2 minutes walk from the famous Gaillands climbing wall and only 15mins walk from Chamonix centre The residence building is very tranquil but there are lively bar and restaurant facilities within 250m The area of Les Gaillands Chamonix is child friendly as there are open spaces to play and walks through the forest within seconds of leaving the flat There are local shops with a bakery and supermarket only 10mins walk away There are 2 restaurants nearby and the local bar was recently voted best bar in Chamonix The bus to Chamonix stops at the end of the drive and the train station on the main SNCF line from St Gervais to Chamonix is 5mins walk away There really is no need to have a car when you stay here especially in the summer as everything is easily within access on foot or free public transport but there is an underground parking space and plenty of outdoor parking available It is comfortable accommodation great value and an ideal location for walking skiing or snowboarding climbing cycling mountaineering golf tennis or just relaxing holidays Owner lives in resort and is available to answer any queries Easily accessible from Geneva airport 1 hours drive away by car or private transfer Geneva airport is served by easyjet from many UK towns and cities including London Gatwick Heathrow Luton Liverpool Birmingham Nottingham East Midlands Belfast Bournemouth Bristol Glasgow Edinburgh and Stanstead Chamonix is approx 8 hours drive from Calais ferry port Flexible breaks are available Please email for more information or pictures
