Old St Michaels is a beautiful Victorian selfcatering flat in a listed former Manse on the edge of Crieff Generously proportioned rooms high ceilings and ornate cornices give the flat a touch of luxury and make for comfortable airy living It is an ideal place to relax unwind and recharge your batteries The flat sleeps up to 5 people 41 and consists of a large lounge kitchen with diningarea bathroom a master bedroom with four poster bed plus extra bed and a second twin bedroom The large living room has a baywindow beautiful cornicing and livingflame gas fire The baywindow acts as a real suntrap and the fire is ideal for cosy nights in There is a large selection of books some videos and a folder with a wealth of information on things to do as well as walk descriptions A generous master bedroom with big windows contains a beautiful kingsize four poster bed and an extra day bed so could also be used as a twin or family room The second double bedroom contains two single beds and is also a comfortable size At the back of the house is a cosy bathroom with WC and over bath shower The countrystyle kitchen with butler sink is spacious very well equipped and is a great place to enjoy a meal and chat around the big central table Our garden is well stocked and part of it is designated for residents sole use

Crieff is a small friendly holiday town in the heart of Perthshire with around 6000 inhabitants Situated right on the Highland boundary fault it offers stunning views over fertile Strathearn and to the surrounding hills The town has a good range of restaurants pubs banks and small independent shops including two supermarkets three art galleries and two good delis all within easy walking distance from the flat Other facilities include several parks lovely walks straight from the town centre spectacular gardens and Scotlands oldest whisky distillery A leisure centre with swimming pool and gym are 400 yards from our front door Crieff lies in the heart of Perthshire one of the most beautiful parts of Scotland There are lochs rivers forests and mountains galore Nearby are charming little towns like Comrie Aberfeldy and Dunkeld which are lovely places to spend a few hours Its central location means that Crieff is an ideal base from which to explore Perthshire and the Southern Highlands The towns of Perth 30 minutes Stirling 35 minutes St Andrews Edinburgh and Glasgow can all be reached by car within an hour while daytrips to the West and East coasts are perfectly feasible There are also good public transport links to many of these places so you dont necessarily have to come here by car There is a large number of tourist attractions within an hours drive This is just a small selection Crieff Visitor Centre Highland Drovers Experience Crieff The Famous Grouse Experience Crieff Drummond Castle Gardens Crieff Auchingarrich Wildlife Centre Comrie Tullibardine Distillery 20min Scone Palace Gardens beside Perth Blair Drummond Safari Park near Stirling Wallace Monument Stirling Stirling Castle Falkirk Wheel 45 minutes Edinburgh Zoo Deep Sea World Edinburgh The area provides everything for lovers of the outdoors be it walking fishing golf rockclimbing riding canoeing or cycling We are happy to give you information on any of these activities Walkers can choose from challenging munros Ben Vorlich Ben Lawers etc to picturesque lowlevel walks the possibilities are endless Golfers will find a wide variety of courses within 30 minutes drive ranging from Crieffs own two courses to small rural gems set in spectacular scenery The worldfamous courses at Gleneagles 15 min and StAndrews 1 hour are also easily accessible
