A delightful townhouse situated within a friendly street with parking and sleeps up to 6 people The property comprises a large kingsize bedroom with the option of a cot a walkthrough bedroom with bunkbeds and a sofabed in the lounge a small but perfectly formed kitchen with laundry area a dining room seating 4 6 a lounge area and bathroom The beauty of this house is the lovely roof terrace with the most fantastic views of the surrounding mountains the perfect spot for watching the sunset with a cool drink This house has everything you will need for your stay and if you need us were only a street away We are Rustic Route Holidays a small family business based in Olvera situated North East of Ronda Olvera is located approximately 1 to hours drive from airport destinations such as Malaga Sevilla Cadiz Jerez de la Frontera and Gibraltar We are within easy reach of the Costa del Sol and the Costa de la Luz located on the Mediterranean and Atlantic Coasts respectively We are also approximately an hour from the historic town of Ronda The railway station in Ronda provides excellent links to both the coast and the major cities including Granada Crdoba Malaga Sevilla and a beautiful journey down to La Linea de la Concepcin

Olvera Olvera is a fabulous base for your break in the Real Spain a wide range of activities are available within easy reach and are suitable for the young the old and those inbetween for the adventurous and the amblers alike There is something for everyone Activities include water sports bird watching Walking Cycling horse riding Fishing Climbing Paragliding Hanggliding Wildlife and Sites of Natural Interest A range of National Parks Innumerable Sites of Historical and Architectural Interest Olvera is one of the 14 recognised Pueblos Blancos White Villages of Andalucia It is a picturesque friendly town of about 10000 inhabitants The town is perched on top of a hill and can be seen for miles around The town boasts the beautiful NeoClassical Church Iglesia Parroquial de Nuestra Seora de la Encarnacion at the summit in the Plaza de Iglesia Adjacent to the church is the completely renovated and restored Moorish Castle together with the Castle Museum and gift shop The local Tourist Office is also located here The views from everywhere in Olvera are magnificent Particularly recommended are the panoramic views from the top of the Castle Below the Church and inside the castle walls you will discover the smallest of streets untouched by modernisation where mules and horses are often still used for transportation Moving down from the Church and Castle you will discover the Plaza de Andalucia which contains a magnificent modern waterfall Above the waterfall can be found The Waterfall Gardens and a small aviary at the top is the Mirador Beautiful View or look out point Come down from The Gardens back to the Plaza try the bar in the Plaza they serve great food and Tapas Proceeding down through the town there are a variety of small parks plazas and viewing points where you can sit rest chat while away the time There are friendly and welcoming bars and restaurants to suit every taste They offer great value for money and the local cuisine is delicious everywhere The local shops provide everything you need from daily requirements to gifts and local produce Just down from the Plaza de Andalucia you can find Esencia Oliva a small shop selling cosmetics based on local virgin olive oil blended with a variety of essential oils and fragrances on the premises the perfect gift to take home or to treat yourself Olvera is well known for its excellent olive oil it is still the main source of agricultural income in the area Rows of Olive trees can be seen for miles in any direction Olvera is sited at the end of one of Spains Via Verdes Greenways These are great ways to explore the countryside that you would not otherwise get to see There are over 60 different routes throughout Spain 12 of which are in Andalucia The route from Olvera to Puerto Serrano stretches for 38 kilometres and has been described as possibly the most beautiful Via Verde in Andalucia It follows the path of a long abandoned railway line For more information visit wwwandaluciacom or visit the local tourist office The Ferias and Fiestas are not to be missed go to wwwandaluciacom for a fiesta calendar We would be happy to help you to organise a whole range of activities if required Please see our contacts page if you would like some help or advice We will be adding more local information as and when it becomes available so please keep checking the site for updates
