About TransportThe local area is well served by buses, and taxis which can be arranged through our agents. The nearest town of Oropesa is about 3km away and this has a train station on the main coast line from Alicante to Barcelona. It is possible to travel from Valencia to either Oropesa or Castellon, the Castellon trains being more frequent. From here it's a half-hour drive to Marina d'Or. (5 minutes from Oropesa).About Airport InformationThe nearest airport at present is Valencia, approximately 50 minutes drive to the resort. A new airport at Castellon is expected to open in 2009 which will be only a few minutes away by taxi. Airport collection from Valencia or Reus can be arranged for up to six people through our agents at around €200 for a return trip. The next nearest airports are Barcelona and Alicante.

Situated in the Costa Azahar I Block around 1km from the resorts centre the apartment enjoys a peaceful yet central location The beach is less than 5 minutes walk away as is a large supermarket and a bus stop with good services to Oropesa and further afield There is a bar cafeteria on the ground floor of the building and a small convenience store across the road There is ample onstreet parking as well as a private secure parking space in the underground garage A 15 to 20 minutes walk brings you to the main attractions of Marina dOr including bars restaurants shops gardens theme park and the famous seawater spa Marina dOr is approximately 3km from the nearest seaside town of Oropesa This is a picturesque holiday resort in its own right with many shops cafes restaurants and bars It has a lovely curved bay with a sandy beach suitable for swimming sunbathing and all kinds of water sports There are good transport links by train and bus to all parts of Spain Between Oropesa and Marina dOr there is a wide promenade alongside the beach with more shops apartments and eating and rest places
