The Boardwalk gives easy access to some of the best attractions in Cornwall and Devon Eden Project Lost Gardens of Heligan the National Maritime Museum at Falmouth the National Aquarium at Plymouth plus many more Its a short walk down to the local beach which stretches for a few miles giving great views across to Rame Head to the east round to Looe Island in the west Not far away is Whitsand Bay a fabulous sandy beach stretching for miles with excellent diving opportunities down to the new reef forming on the purposefully sunk ship HMS Scylla If you are a walker Downderry is on the South West Coastal Path and the Boardwalk is just a short drive from Bodmin Moor or Dartmoor To take advantage of the excellent walks two wellbehaved dogs can stay with you in the Boardwalk
