Property Description
This 60 sqm apartment is situated less than 5 minutes walk from a long sandy beach and less than 5 minutes walk from Saint Cyprien Port with bars and restaurants, hundreds of yachts and boats. The area around St Cyprien is one of natural beauty with many interesting and picturesque towns and villages to explore. With so many different places and things to do we challenge any visitor to be bored… whether you’re an enthusiast of wine, culture, sports, mountains or simply the beach!
The apartment is on the second floor of a three storey building with private parking, it is spacious with high ceilings and south west facing balcony. At the rear is a well kept very large secluded communal garden with access to residents only.
Accommodation
Communal stairs to entrance hall, leading to large living/dining area, this is all one large open room and offers a double sofa bed, additional seating, table and chairs for dinning, coffee table, television and cd/casset player etc, access to balcony. Separate kitchen, fully equipped with fridge, cooker, microwave, crockery and cutlery for a minimum of seven people.
A wide corridor to area housing bathroom and separate toilet. Further to two bedrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed and the other bedroom has two single beds.
Local Area InformationAqualand - watersports park only ten minutes' walk from the apartment. Open from mid June. Approx £10 per day although there are often special deals advertised. There is also a mini-karting track there. Recommended by visitors and their children.
Another adventure park just outside St Cyp on the road leading to Argeles - this includes a bowling alley and go karting.
Gokarting at St Cyprien Sud - open all year and at night in season. Recommended by children of all ages!! (Near the signs to La Tour Bas Elne - 5 minutes' drive from the apartment).
Tennis - 20 courts at Les Capellanes - indoor and outdoor. A very attractive and well kept public sports centre in the woods half a mile from us - well signposted - off the tree-lined road leading to Aqualand and the apartment. Squash also on offer. Equipment for hire. Very reasonable rates.
Indoor swimming pool at St Cyprien village.
Boat trips - from St Cyprien Port or Port Vendres (and other ports) including day trips to Spain. (Great way to visit Collioure on Wednesdays or Sundays - market days - and get a chance to drink and not drive!). However, you may wish to book ahead in the small booth in St Cyp Port to avoid disappointment, especially in the height of the season.
Wine tasting - at Banyuls, Bages, Chateau Cap de Fouste, Salses, Fitou (and many other places - see information in the flat).
Bicycle hiring at Village Commercial des Capellans and St Cyp Plage including two, four and six-seaters.
Golf - at St Cyp and mini-golf at St Cyp Plage and other places.
Horse-riding - at the St Cyprien Equestrian Centre called UDSIST - and many other places in the area, particularly north of Canet on the coast.
Fishing - various places. Fishing boats come into St Cyprien Port from around 3pm each day and sell their fish to the public.
Museums, art galleries - Elne, Ceret, St Cyprien, Canet, Collioure, Banyuls.
Circuses seem to be constantly around during the season at St Cyp Port and other places - usually very good family entertainment.
A funfair and other entertainment is permanently at St Cyp Port in the season ... also lots of children's amusements (bouncy castles etc) at Canet - next resort north of St Cyp.

We request a holding deposit of 30%, the balance payable 8 weeks before your holiday.
Cheques payable to ‘Mr. M Skilton’
We also require a breakage/damage/cleaning deposit of £100 payable with full payment. This will be returned at the end of your holiday after inventory and cleaning check.
You are required to leave the apartment in the same pristine state of cleanliness as it was when you arrived or you will be charged for cleaning. |
