Olonzac has a beautiful municipal park which has three tennis courts a large childrens play area and of course an area for playing boules The Lac de Jourres is a short drive or a pleasant walk from the town centre Swimming and water sports are available at the Lac de Jourres in the summer and its a restful place to sit and read at anytime of the year TV and DVD player Music CDs DVDs books and games are also provided Olonzac is also an ideal starting point for adventures slightly further a field there is the historic Citadel of Minerve and the treelined Canal du Midi are both only 2 minutes drive away the magical walled city of Carcassonne only 25 minutes drive Walking Cycling Horse riding numerous Restaurants Wine tasting Siteseeing Canal du Midi boathiring Minerve Narbonne Carcassonne Beziers
