Villa Asimina is a bloc of 8 apartments, has got a swimming pool and a reception. Most of the apartments have been renovated, which means that 6 of the 8 apartments got new doors, windows and some of them got also new tiles. The other 2 apartments are 6 years old. In each bedroom you'll find air conditioning where you'll pay extra for.
Now the renovation is finished, these apartments look like new.
Villa Asimina has got 2 different kinds of apartments. The apartments are built against a small mountain, which means that you have a tremendous view from almost all the apartments.
Apartment type A, has got 2 bedrooms with air conditioning and 2 single beds, a bathroom with a shower and toilet, a living room, a kitchen and a terrace or balcony which is at some apartments about 16 sqm². The A type apartments are suitable for maximum 5 persons. These 4 type A apartments at Villa Asimina are also very spacey.
The difference between Apartment type B and type A is, that there is only 1 bedroom in the type B apartments. There is a fixed third bed in the living room, see the picture above. So the type B apartments are suitable for 3 persons. There is also a possibility for a fourth bed. For this you pay € 25 a week extra.

Local Area Information

The people of Kalo Chorio, during the rise with the tourism, decided to locate 
the touristic section in this region, by the sea. Consequently, the tourist village 
of Istro sprang up, which lies about 75 km from the airport and the capital, Heraklion. A little more than 1 km before you reach Istro from the direction of Agios Nikolaos, you will find our appartment complex, slightly uphill on the right side of the road.The bay of Mirabello and the Triphti mountains, serve as the backdrop for the picturesquely situated "Villa Asimina". Mirabello, in Italian, means "Beautiful View". 
The bay gained this reputation during the Venetian period, 1204-1669.
Agios Nikolaos is 9 km away and a famous touristic village with a harbour, some beautiful "blue flag" beaches and the famous bottemless lake.
From the harbour you can make many boat trips, for example to Spinalonga / Elounda.
In the area are many car trips to make and you'll find many archeological places.
