The apartment is situated on the second floor & the living/dining space leads onto the balcony where you can sit & relax. Comfortably furnished with 1 double bedroom & a bedroom with 2 single beds. There is also a 2 bathrooms which is ideal for families. This really is the ideal base for you discover unspoilt Spain.

It has a fully equipped kitchen & includes a washing machine & fridge freezer. The lounge/dining area is clean & comfy, but to be honest with the fantastic Spanish weather & what the area has to offer you'll hardly ever be indoors!!!!

Both Murcia & Alicante Airports are within easy reach of the region with the entire major and budget airlines flying to that area, for example Jet2.com, BMI Baby, Fly monarch & Thomson fly, Ryan air & Easy Jet

Car hire is advised, with all the major hire companies represented. Cars with automatic transmission are not so easily available but one company we found was Aurigna Crown at Alicante airport. If you prefer not to drive, we can arrange for you to be collected from the airport - charges to be paid locally to the driver

Linen is provided & some towels but we advise that you bring your own beach towels
we do not rent the apartment to groups of teenagers & smoking is permitted in designated area.
The apartment has Tv.dvd loads Dvd to watch or you may want to bring your own, Cd/radio.
There is also a buggy, booster seat & travel cot available at no extra cost we also have a child,s dora aor bed available.

Local Area Information

Located in the village of Formentera del Segura a short walk will take you to the plaza where in the evening you can sit soak up the atmosphere of this typical Spanish village Benimar is not far away here you will find an array of restaurants bars ranging from Indian Chinese Italian a steak house Rojales is also within walking distance every Thursday they hold a local market It has supermarkets shops many bars Guardamar is approx 9km away boasts one of the best beaches on the Costa Blanca The beach front is littered with seafood restaurants to tempt you For those golfers amongst you there are at least 5 good courses in the vicinity one within a 5 minute drive As with all Spanish villages Formentera del Segura has its share of fiestas and celebrations However in May there is one celebration unique to Formentera The Day of the Bicycle when many of the villagers take part in a race to celebrate the past and present brotherhood of the people of the village In Formentera May is known as The Month of Flowers and there are many celebrations including a grand procession in honour of the Virgin of the Immaculate Conception The closest beach is Guardamar del Segura approx 15 minutes A popular and pleasant tourist site with sandy beaches and a town with specialist world crafts markets bars and restaurants and other shopping facilities Places to visit Castillo de Santa Barbara in Alicante Admire the coastal views from this historical castle which was built by the Carthaginians Romans and Moors Gallinera Valley one of the finest and most spectacular valleys of the region with rich almond and cherry trees set amongst a backdrop of mountains Guadlest A village set inland from Benidorm centred on a Moorish castle encircled by stunning mountain ranges Herto del Cura Elche Elx A unique Botanical garden within the great palm forest of Elche a historic town ruled by the moors Activities near Formentera del Segura Tennis in town Watersports Golf within 30 mins drive Fishing Great for Walking holidays Rural countryside retreats Beach or lakeside relaxation A winter sun break Good nightlife Cycling holidays
