Beaches: Warm sunshine, gentle breezes and the sounds of the surf will lull you into dreamy sleep, where your only thoughts go to "which flavour of "Cow's Ice Cream" will you chose today! Sounds heavenly? There are many beautiful beaches on P.E.I., and even after two weeks visiting a new one each day, there would still be many to explore. We have the warmest waters, north of the Virginias.

Water Sports: Spend a day Sea Kayaking on Malpeque Bay, or try deep sea fishing out of North Rustico. Tuna fishing in North Lake, seal watching at East Point or sailing on Charlottetown Harbour, are all available to you.

Cycling: P.E.I. is a haven for cyclers. Ride the Confederation Trail, which was once the railroad link on the island. Try trails through Woodlands or the hills of the roadside, where often the seaside comes to view and the patchwork quilts of the farms along the way, take your breath away.

Anne of Green Gables: When one thinks of P.E.I. , Anne comes to mind. Spend the day exploring the life of Anne of Green Gables' author, Lucy Maud Montgomery and the places she wrote of, in her world famous novels.

Museums: P.E.I.'s history dates back with the first settlers being the Mk'Maq's(MicMac's), followed by English and French settlers, (the Loyalists and Acadians). Many of our museums depict Island life in the 19th century and on into the era of the windmills that turn on the North Cape. Also "learn about our potato history"

Entertainment: Take in a play or musical at the Confederation Centre, King's Playhouse, Victoria Playhouse or the Harbour Front Jubilee Theatre. Enjoy the sounds of bagpipes at the College of Piping in Summerside. A ceildh or a concert at the Indian River Festival will keep your feet a tappin'!

Dining: Satisfy your appetite and eat your way across the island,
enjoying the multitude of restaurants and take-aways available to suit everyone's palate. Lobster, Malpeque Oysters, Clams, Mussels, homemade baking, fresh local produce, sweet wild berries, Acadian meat pies and of course P.E.I.'s famous potatoes are all here to please.
