Villa in Scotland, United KingdomProperty DescriptionThis ground floor luxury apartment, which is part of a large Edwardian mansion house has the most enviable, uninterrupted views over the Firth of Forth, its islands and the West Links Golf Course. Indeed the West Links and West Bay can even be accessed by a gate from the beautiful, landscaped gardens.This stunning and very spacious apartment which has recently been refurbished and decorated to a high standard still retains some wonderful period features. The accommodation comprises drawing room, kitchen, 3 bedrooms, bathroom, separate w.c, laundry room and cloakroom. The magnificent drawing room, which overlooks the pretty garden and West Links, with its high ceilings and huge bay windows is very tastefully furnished with 2 x three seater sofas, 2 comfortable easy chairs, large TV with video/DVD and Sky facility, coffee table and other stylish occasional furniture. The grandeur of this room is difficult to describe with its immense open fire place, solid oak floors and wood panelled walls. There is also a dining table with seating for 8 people in this very spacious room. The roomy kitchen, with wood laminate flooring, is fully fitted with cream wall and base units, electric hob and oven, fridge, dish washer, microwave, kettle and toaster and full compliment of utensils. The washing machine and drier are housed in the laundry room and there is a fridge freezer in the pantry in the hall. There are three spacious bedrooms which can be easily converted to various combinations with modern beds which can be zipped together or not depending on the requirements of the guests. In one room there is a fixed king, in the second there are twin beds which can be zipped together to create super king and in the third bedroom has two large, single, top of the range, pocket sprung mattresses and can be a double if needed. There are wardrobes and plenty of drawers in each room. The bathroom has a bath with a high quality overhead power shower, W.C. and wash-hand basin set into a charming, modern vanity unit with shaving outlet. There is a cloakroom (with outside door) off the drawing room which leads to a separate wc with wash hand basin. At the front of the house the property benefits from a lovely private south-facing garden with patio complete with table and chairs. At the back of the house the fairly extensive manicured gardens lead through a gate directly onto the West Links. Accessed from the lounge, there is a raised patio which is ideal for summer barbeques as one watches the sun setting across the water beyond the island of Fidra and the Paps of Fife. There is ample garden furniture, Webber BBQ and a lovely summer house where one can cool off in the shade of the hot summer sun!
