Casita Marguerita is a cosy rural apartment on ground level. It is part of a traditional whitewashed house with an Andalucian vine-covered patio, a gravelled garden and its own parking.

There is one bedroom with a double bed, a double wardrobe, a chest of drawers, a bedside table and lamps and an ensuite walk-in and step-over shower with a wash basin and loo. The apartment has an open plan sitting/dining/kitchen area. The kitchen is typically Andaluz. A good array of pots and pans, crockery and cutlery is supplied. The kitchen is freshly stocked with some basics like bottled water, milk, juice, bread, butter, jam, eggs and cornflakes for your arrival.

It is naturally cool in the house during the summer if the blinds are kept down, windows shut and wooden shutters closed during the heat of the day. There is a portable standing fan for those hotter days.

For the cooler mornings and nights, there is a wall mounted electric panel heater in the bedroom plus a blanket and hot water bottles. In addition we have available a portable electric halogen heater for use. As we are approximately 2000feet above sea level in the mountains it can be chilly in the mornings and nights during the spring month of March and autumn month of October during which we will supply a gas heater if necessary.

A patio table and 2 chairs are provided for use on the patio. There is also a patio umbrella and a bamboo blind for when the grapevine has not fully grown to provide sufficient shade from the sun when sitting out. We also provide a BBQ and utensils and ashtrays for use. Smokers are welcome, we kindly ask that they do not smoke indoors.

It is quiet here but not isolated situated in a hamlet amongst rolling olive groves 3 minutesdrive from the main road and 15 minutes journey from the main motorway which connects to the rest of Andalucia A short walk will take you to the local restaurantbar and shop for those emergency supplies 5 minutesdrive south will take you to Tapia with all its main amenities and its municipal pool. A 10 minutes journey north will see you in the beautiful village of Iznajar with its spectacular Lake Iznajar and its beach Valdearenas. Here you will also find all main amenities and its municipal pool. ituated where the 3 provinces of Cordoba Granada and Malaga meet we are well placed for the main cultural cities of Cordoba with its Mezquita Granada and The Alhambra and The Sierra Nevada Sevilla and The Giralda Malaga and its coasts Guadix and its cavehouses Antequera and the unique landscape of El Torcal Alhama de Granada and its ancient baths and canyon Jaen with LaMota Fortress in Alcala la Real Laguna de Fuente de Piedra and its thousands of flamingos and Ronda with its Bridge which make easy distances for day trips Where we are situated makes birdwatching at Desfiladero de los Gaitanes Garganta del Chorro walking in the Poniente Granadino exploring La Subbetica or visiting some of the villages and towns on the Irving Washington Route or the Route of the Caliphs ideal.
