The property is located in the Hills behind the famouse Lighthouse beach, Kovalam.
The way down to the beach is hardly of 15 minutes walk.
The beautiful Hawabeach is the main attraction of Kovalam and even entire Kerala.
The beach and the beach side restaurants have been a hub of tourist attracations since decades.

Thiruvananthapuram is the nearest city and is of great historical interest, with forts, palaces and temples.
These are spots of tourist and cultural interests. Besides, the Kovalam beach, there are backwater spots, High ranges, Theme parks around the Trivadrum city.
We can arrange you cab for touring these locations.

The biggest local supermarket, is 2kms away. There are autorikshaws which can take you any where around at really very low rates!

Vizhinjam is a coastal town with a small port and it is well known for its Ayurvedic treatment centres and rock-cut temples. You can watch the fishing boats out at sea or even take a sail to the sea in the "Kattamaram"



How to get there
Well connected by air, train and road.

The Trivandrum International airport is 14 kms away - its just half an hour drive to the property through the Highway road.
We offer airport pick up at no extra cost. The cab driver will wait for you with your nameboard on, and take you right to the property ..whatever be the time of your arrival !

Please note the land marks to reach the home.(Just in case you are travelling alone)

1. The highway will take you from the Trivandrum Airport till Kovalam Town.

2. You have to take deviation after Kovalam junction at AZHAKULAM into the HARBOUR ROAD.

3. Go through HARBOUR ROAD till APPU HOTEL- Take devation to right by the side of APPU HOTEL- Go further down


4. Further 400 meters down, you will see a deviation. Take THE RIGHT SIDE deviation , go futher down 200 meters through that road.

The home is see on the left side with a black gate and rock wall.

Distances (approximate): Trivandrum City: 35 mins, Backwater Rice Boat - Allepey: 3.5 hours, Wildlife sanctuary and Hill Station - Munnar: 6.5 hours, Cape Comarine: 1.5 hours, Varkala Beach and cliffs: 1.5 hours, Kovalam Junction 15 mins walk or 5 mins by rickshaw.
Within easy walking distance are many restaurants, banks, money change, internet cafes, tailors, shops, supermarkets, alcohol and beer shop.
There are many Ayurvedic treatment centres around (renowned historical treatment for back pain, injury and other muscular and bone ailments, yoga, meditation, facials, manicure etc.)There are short-term programmes for rejuvenation, slimming, relaxation, de-stressing, spine and neck care, anti-arthritis and much more.

Each bedroom has a double bed with wardrobes. The rooms are well ventillated with large French windows.
The beds are well kept.

Kitchen has granite work tops, cabinets, microwave, burner, coffee maker, sandwitchmaker, kettle and fridge.

Internet access (Wi-Fi via USB Modem) provided.
Inverter facility for the living room and bedroom for protection from electric power supply failures.

The living cum dining room has furniture with dining table (can seat upto 6).

Maid service is provided. Cleaning of the interirors and done once every 3 days

Conditions
There are 3 bedrooms in the villa.

The rental rates given are for the 2 bedrooms along with the villa. ( Ideal if your group size is 3 - 4 persons.)

If your group size is of 5-6 persons, you can rent the 3rd bedroom along with with villa - extra rent of 30-40 GBP per week. Total rent is 120- 250 GBP per week ( depending on the season).


If your group size is of 1 or 2 persons and if you need only a single bedroom( with its attached kitchen and bathroom). The rent is 50-90 GBP per week ( depending on the season).
