Villa in Valencia, SpainProperty DescriptionVILLA RIO MAGRO is a large modern holiday rental close to the town of Bunol and 30 minutes from Valencia City airport.VILLA RIO MAGRO is perfect for getting away from it all. Set in a tranquil, relaxing area, you can enjoy the countryside and amazing mountain views but it is close enough to the towns and cities to see 'real spain' and real spanish life. The villa has a feeling of openness and brightness and is set on a large plot of land with a big variety of fruit trees from lemons, figs, peaches, grapes and more all for you to enjoy. The nearest house is over 100 meters away and is not often occcupied so your holiday here is very private and very peaceful. The swimming pool and all terraces and gardens are right outside your front door which makes looking after your children a lot easier. Perfect for quiet reading or play music while you're in the pool. This is a holiday for relaxing and having fun. Keep an eye on the sky and you will most likely catch sight of eagles flying overhead or even some vultures circling. There are 2 sunbathing terraces by the pool (wet areas), A second astro turfed terrace with deck chairs and tables and a large terrace in the shade outside the apartment with dining table, swing chairs, BBQ and outdoor lounge area. The swimming pool has a pool light and lighting around the pool on the terrace areas and with the pool being directly in front of the villa it makes it easy to keep an eye on the children and perfect for night time swims under the star and moonlit sky. Inside the villa you'll find a large living room (with DVD, satalite TV, sterio, etc), Kitchen/Diner, bathroom and 3 LARGE spacious bedrooms. The villa has been recently renovated (2008) and has been given a modern spacious but warm and inviting feel. This is a self catering apartment, however, if you're staying for 1 week or more, we cook you a freshly prepared meal with dessert and wine on the evening of your arrival plus breakfast provisions and all the essentials like milk, tea and coffee are included, so after your journey you can relax straight away. We also have 2 IN-HOUSE MENUs so if you don't feel like cooking let us do the work for you. We run the house as ecologically as possible. We are mainly solar powered also with solar heated hot water (with gas water heater as backup). You will have satelite TV plus a DVD player. Lots of DVDs are available on request. Local Area InformationOur nearest village, Macastre, is a 5 minute drive away. It is a real Spanish village with real Spanish people who are very laid back and friendly. Even if you dont speak a word of Spanish you will always get by in cafés, bars and shops. The locals are always helpful.Spain is a big country and it is always advised to hire a car on arrival at the airport. Pre-booked, hire cars can be found quite cheaply and picked up right outside Valencia airport. Valencia airport is 30 minute drive from the apartment. Most budget airlines fly direct to Valencia airport. Alicante airport is the next closest main airport. Valencia is just as beautiful in the Autumn and Winter as it is in Spring and Summer so take advantage of this and the out of season bargain rates at our villa. You will still get as big a welcome what ever time of year it is. During the winter months the surrounding area of the villa is perfect for Painting, Walking, Nature, Bird Watching and Cycling Holidays or just relaxing taking in the winter sun. If you like Historic Holidays again there is plenty to see in the surrounding area and in the city of Valencia. Nightlife in the City and the villages is great all year round and with Valencias micro climate (warm sunny weather 310 days of the year on average more than the rest of spain due to a ring of mountains keeping bad weather out and the good in) the beaches can be enjoyed any time of the year. This is a 2 story private villa with 2 floors being completely separate living apartments. The Villa is south facing with sunshine all day long. The owners live in the apartment above with separate outdoor area (north Facing) to the front of the villa and are available for assistance if required. The owners may occasionally use the pool (it can get quite warm here) but they will not intrude on your stay in any way. We maintain the pool and the gardens so you can Enjoy your stay and relax. Each year we add more to the villa to make your stay here even more enjoyable. THINGS TO DO - PLACES TO GO There are lots to do in the area and in the towns and cities Listed below are Main big events. We now offer painting holidays where you can be given lessons on painting and/or taken to amazing locations to paint fantastic views (at an extra charge) We Offer Bicycle hire at €45 euros per week per Cycle. (a 50 eyros deposit is required refundable on return of the cycle) So you can take full advantage of the surrounding areas of which there is much to explore. ***NEW*** Macastre PAINTBALL EXTREEM........ A brand new paintballing complex consisting of 3 adventure areas... This is a great time out for all the family set in the mountains only 5 minutes from the villa. LAS FALLAS fiestas, March 1st to March 19th...(prices reduced for this period SAVE €85 euros per week) One of the biggest fiestas in Valencia see the city and Valencian towns come to life as thousands of people come to see the amazing 6 storey high sculptures that take a year to build (only to be set on fire on the 19th), the amazing fire work displays., big street parades and the loudest midday fire cracker display youll ever hear. This is an amazing time in Valencia something that should be experienced..... LA TOMATINA, The famous Tomato throwing event in the streets of Bunol... the last Wednesday of August 31st 2011 is now available for booking.. this week books up very quickly so if you want to come to this spectacular event BOOK NOW to save dissapointment. This is fiesta last a full week with the tomatina event on the Wednesday in the morning followed by street parties. Every year its get better and better.
