Local Area Information

The Pearse Valley Lodge is nestled in a peaceful little valley with delightful views of the Mt. Arthur Range and our 700acre farm. The farm has both forested areas, which are home to many native birds and rolling grassland areas, where deer, goats and cattle graze. The forests surrounding the farm offer great opportunities for walking, mountain biking and horse riding.

The Pearse River follows one of our boundaries for 2.5km and the Motueka River is within easy walking distance. Safe swimming holes and fishing spots are plentiful. Rafting and canoeing down the Motueka river are also experiences to enjoy.

Kahurangi National Park is on our doorstep and the Abel Tasman and Nelson Lakes National Parks are within easy reach.

The Pearse Valley is a wonderful place to visit, whether for relaxation – soaking up the peace and the views, or for exploring the great outdoors.
