Local Area Information

Vale da Telha is a quiet residential area in the picturesque Costa Vicentina National Park.
The area is ideal for walking, swimming, horse riding, bird watching, cycling etc.
There are 2 small but well stocked supermarkets within 10 mins walk of the villa.
Several small bars & restaurants also within walking distance.
Aljezur is the nearest town with banks, post office, several mini supermarkets, restaurants and castle.
Fantastic indoor market selling all local fresh bread, salads, vegetables, cheeses, cakes and fresh local fish.
A trip up the Monchique mountains is a must, but choose a sunny day to see the best views.
There are some of the finest quiet sandy beaches of the Algarve within a few minutes drive of the villa. Suitable for children. surfing, swimming etc.
Lagos is a 20min drive away with a harbour, great restaurants and very good shops with everything you could want.
