All of our cottages are located on lake front property with the cottages running in a line away from the lake. Each cottage offers 2 bedrooms (double bed), 3 piece bath w/shower, fully equipped kitchen, dinette and living room with a couch (pulls out into a double bed), chair and coloured TV with satellite reception. A couple of our cottages also offer a screened in front porch offering extended living space. All cottages offer a large wooden deck with 2 wooden lawn chairs, cement patio with charcoal BBQ, fire pit and picnic table. The walk from the cottages to the beach is an easy grassy path with approx. 10 cement steps to connect with the shale beach. The town of Port Dover is a 5-minute drive and offers many excellent restaurants, gift shops and the main sandy beach.

About Weather/Climate/TemperatureThe climate in this area is very pleasant. In the summer a sea breeze takes the edge off the heat. Even in the winter months the temperature can rise to 20 degrees with many lovely sunny days.

Local Area Information

Port Dover is a small quaint fishing village located approximately 1.1/2 hours from Toronto airport. There are many excellent golf courses in the area and there is a walking trail connecting to the Bruce Trail. Bicycles can be borrowed from the local Board of Trade Office. There are numerous interesting sites and maps available on arrival and there is a monthly tourist newspaper advertising events.
