Marina Apartments is situated in the picturesque coastal town of Ventnor one of the most southerly places on the Isle of Wight The Victorians chose to build in Ventnor because of its mild and Mediterranean style climate making it the healthiest resort on the Island home to the famous wall lizards and many tropical plants These apartments are situated in a prime location to explore the beauty of the Island including the unspoilt countryside and the many places of interest whilst retaining all the freedom and flexibility that goes with a self catering holiday This property was one of the earlier houses built in 1844 by the Victorians as a gentlemans residence It has recently been converted to 6 modern wellequipped and spacious 1 and 3 bedroomed selfcatering family holiday apartments sleeping from 2 to 9 people Facing south on a quiet private road it is central to Ventnor Bay with stunning panoramic beach and sea views The sea front and beach is approximately 50 metres from the apartments The town centre for shopping and buses is situated about 150 metres to the rear accessible via steps up the hillside or by road for the less enthusiastic There is also a good selection of restaurants takeaways and public houses within a short walking distance Each modern apartment has its own unique layout they are attractive comfortable and spacious All have their own private entrance at the rear of the building Within each of the apartments all rooms lead off a main hallway allowing independent access from the sleeping areas to the kitchen and bath shower room Each comfortable lounge has easy seating colour television video recorder and DVD player The fully equipped separate kitchen includes full sized electric cooker microwave fridge and coffee maker Some apartments have an American Style Wall Bed in the lounge to give an extra sleeping area This fully sprung double bed is made up for your use and is folded back against the wall and concealed behind louver doors during the day When required it is lowered down and ready for use Families welcome Bed linen is included in the tariff and beds using duvets are freshly made for your arrival Cots cot linen and high chairs are provided if required at no extra cost Hair dryer vacuum cleaner iron ironing board drying facilities in each apartment Each apartment has its own independent heating A large range of videos DVDs books and games for your own entertainment are available free A laundry freezer with ice packs and payphone are available on site for residents use At the front of the building there is a patio small garden and a barbecue for your use In the private car park there is one car parking space allocated for each apartment Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement with no extra charge maximum of 2 per apartment Short breaks are available out of season PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE ARE STEPS TO ALL APARTMENTS
