Very well equipped holiday home in south Donegal near sandy beaches. We cater for children and supply, on request, a travel cot, baby high chair, baby gates, steam steriliser, stroller, baby dishes beakers & cutlery, plug covers, etc.

For those with limited mobility we have ground floor access at front, a ramp at the back door, a downstairs (double) bedroom with en suite wet room. Loo has a grab rail if needed and we can supply a shower seat. All light switches are at the lower level.

The large kitchen/diner has a side by side American style fridge which dispenses ice and chilled, filtered water, dishwasher, electric hob, fan assisted oven, microwave, coffee maker, 4 slice toaster, electric kettle, many utensils and cooking pans, matching white dishes, large supply of glasses including tumblers, wine glasses, champagne glasses, Irish coffee glasses, good quality cutlery, large table which seats 12, TV, radio, granite worktops, teatowels supplied.

All the bedrooms are comfortable with good quality matresses, pillows (2 per person) and duvets. Beds are freshly made up for your arrival using white or cream good quality bedding. The master bedroom and the ground floor bedroom beds have electric blankets. All bedrooms have good quality hairdryers. Ample wooden hangers supplied.

There is a separate utility area with washing machine, tumble dryer, clothes airer, pegs for the outside washing line, iron and ironing board.

Extras include broadband access, will console, DVD player and DVDs, CD player and CDs, books, and board games. We also supply 2 fishing rods and guests can fish off local piers. There is a fishing tackle shop opposite Daisy Cottage. We also supply a pop up tent for parents to take to the beach to keep younger children out of the sun.

There is a games loft with a pool/air hockey table, darts board and football table.

Outside there is private off street parking, a large covered patio with tables and seating for 12, a private south facing walled orchard garden, and a small patio just outside the back door with a table and 2 chairs.

Daisy Cottage is in the centre of the busy little Donegal village of Dunkineely on the south west coast of County Donegal.

The village has a general store, post office, hair dressers, butchers, a number of small cosy pubs some of which have music certain nights, a diner/take away, fishing tackle shop (we supply 2 fishing rods).

Nearby there are numerous sandy beaches (we supply the beach towels and beach toys for children), equestrian centre which caters for children too, freshly caught fish is available nearby 6 days a week at the pier in Killybegs, lots of excellent local restaurants, taxi service, a short drive away is Murvagh Golf Club. There are plenty of opportunities to go hill walking, mountaineering and so on.
