Leys Cottage is a delightful farm cottage overlooking fields and woodland combes above Withypool in the heart of the Exmoor National Park. It shares the farm with Foxtwitchen, a 2 bedroom cottage sleeping 4. Both cottages can be rented together for up to 10 people.

Leys Cottages offer a fantastic base for walking, hiking, horse riding and many other country pursuits.

There are several excellent eating places within easy reach and rural heritage abounds, with one of the oldest bridges – Tarr Steps – within easy reach as a vigorous walk or short car journey. The River Barle is within walking distance, while Dunster Castle and beach are a short drive away.

Leys Cottage self catering holiday home sleeps six in three double bedrooms with 1 en suite and 1 family bathroom on the 1st floor and a kitchen/diner and sitting room below. Dogs are welcome.

There is safe parking for up to 3 good sized cars. Follow the path to the French doors that welcome you into Leys Cottage's well equipped kitchen/dining room with its oil-fired Aga, gas hob, electric oven, combination microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine / dryer and dish washer.

Step through into the sitting room with its 3 large comfortable sofas that frame the room and its focus point – the stove which burns both wood and coal. Here you’ll also find Freeview TV, DVD player, CD and cassette tape player.

Upstairs are your double bedrooms

Master bedroom – with its beautiful views, 5ft double bed, and large en suite shower, toilet and hand basin. (If you’re happy to share, this bathroom can also be accessed from the landing.)

Second bedroom – with ‘Zip and Link’ bed that gives you the option of twins or queen. This bedroom has a TV and video.

Third double bedroom - with double bed, bedside cabinets.

Bathroom This has a bath with shower attachment, toilet, bidet and basin.

Outside, you’ll discover the lovely garden and al fresco dining area, complete with barbecue and views across the valley.
