Sherrill Farm Holiday Cottages United Kingdom
Elderberry & Chestnut at Sherrill Farm
Cottage in England, United Kingdom
Sherrill Farm Holiday Cottages comprise the original farmhouse and 12 cottages converted from 300-year old Devon barns on a 16-acre estate containing leisure facilities, wildlife walks and fishing lakes. The Farmhouse sleeps 22, while the other cottages vary in size offering 1-5 bedrooms (many en suite) sleeping from 2-14. All the cottages are ideally suited for family holidays or for groups of friends wanting to celebrate special occasions.
Clustered around the central courtyard, each cottage has been thoughtfully converted, retaining original features such as inglenooks and oak beams, and then equipped to a high standard with facilities from en suite bathrooms to free WiFi. Thus, making your holiday as relaxing and entertaining as possible.
Sherrill Farm is surrounded by the peace and tranquillity of beautiful countryside between Tavistock and the River Tamar on the Cornish border. Whether you want a holiday cottage in which to unwind, or as a base for exploring this part of Devon and Cornwall, this is the perfect place.
Sherrill Farm boasts many leisure facilities for guests’ exclusive use including an indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, indoor games barn, outdoor play area, tennis court and fishing lake (with rods for hire) and a wildlife pond. The farm estate is so quiet that birdsong is responsible for most of the noise, while badgers and foxes can be discovered playing in the fields on summer evenings.
There is also a picnic area and summerhouse along the banks of the ponds; all in all a beautiful area offering peace, tranquillity and pleasure for adults and children alike.
