Each room has a ceiling fan and private bathroom. The Seafront Studios offer great sea views and also have a kitchenette with a fridge. It is a relaxed friendly atmosphere run by an English and French couple.

From Hewanorra airport: Either take a taxi directly to Bay Guesthouse, Bay Street in Gros Islet. Or the cheaper option is to take a local minibus from the airport to Castries (Bus route 2H cost: USD 4.00) and from Castries change to another local mini bus to Gros Islet (Bus route: 1A cost: USD 1.00). See below for instructions of how to find the Guesthouse in Gros Islet and which bus stop to get off at in Gros Islet.

From Vigie airport: Either take a taxi directly to Bay Guesthouse or use a local mini bus which will cost USD 1.00 to Bay Guesthouse in Gros Islet.

The local bus terminates near the Golden Apple Bar in Gros Islet (you'll know when you get there as the bus turns around to go back and you'll be the last one on!). From here walk towards the seafront (straight on from the direction the bus came) and when you get to the sea turn right down Bay Street. We are the orange building at the end (2 minutes walk). Or call us from the airport and we'll come to meet your minibus in Gros Islet and walk you back (T: 450 8956)

Local Area Information

Within walking distance are several local restaurants, bars and internet cafes. Bay Guesthouse is perfectly located for public transport around the island, by far the cheapest and easiest method to explore St Lucia. A 5 minute drive away are banks, restaurants, supermarkets, shops, internet cafes and the Rodney Bay Marina with all the tourist facilities. The National Park of Pigeon Island with beaches, snorkelling and ruined forts are a 10 minute walk down the next door beach. Bay Guesthouse is ideally situated for Gros Islet's famous Friday night "Jump Up" which is held close by - with local food, drinks and dancing down the main street.
