To the south side of the hamlet Casa della Nonna C enjoys a sunny aspect from sun rise to sun set. This bright and open house has a high quality finish in old Tuscan style and has superb views all around of pine forest, vineyards and olive groves.

Entry is gained across the terracotta tile terrace and here part shade is provided by an old Chestnut tree, there is a dining table with four comfortable lounge chairs ideal for soaking up the Tuscan sun and dining al Fresco from the outside grill.

The large arched front door leads into the lounge dining area; to the left a large window ensures that you can enjoy the views from inside the house. Ahead there is a wood burning stove and a french window opening up the East views. The high Tuscan style roof ceiling is of oak beams and terracotta tiles and there are glazed terracotta floor tiles throughout.

The lounge area has a relaxing double sofa and is equipped with a TV Sat, DVD player and CD radio. The dining area has an extendable glass topped table and six chairs. Beyond is the fully fitted kitchen that includes, 4 gas hobs, a fridge/freezer, a microwave, a dishwasher, a toaster and coffee maker. There is ample kitchen/dining facilities for 4 people provided.

To the rear is a small corridor with entrance to the bedroom and the bathroom. On the right the bedroom has oak wood ceilings with chunky beams, there is a huge wardrobe, bedside tables with reading lamps, dressing table with mirror and a hand made iron bed frame with orthopedic mattresses. To the right are French doors leading onto the terrace. The bathroom is finished to a high standard with travertine tiles and includes a large shower.

From the dining area stairs lead up a study area. The stairs are very steep, this atic style room has ceiling heights from 1.20 mtr to 1.80 mtr, the stairs and room are not be suitable for young children or the elderly. There is a computer with free Internet here; natural light comes from a large window. On this mezzanine floor there is also a single sofa bed.

One of Italy's national monuments Hamlet Montefienali emerged in the middle of the 13th Century as a staging post on ancient Roman road into the Chianti. After a two-year restoration project Hamlet Montefienali is once more the ideal place for rest and recuperation for both body and mind.

HM high point is the perfect place for its twin swimming pools. There is a 15 mtrs x 7.5 mtrs pool and a small children's swimming pool 1 mtr deep - pools are open from Easter to November. Sun lays and umbrellas furnish the surrounding garden and terraces to provide a great place basking in the sun while taking in the stunning vista of the Hamlet and hilltop villages beyond.
