Property Description

Set at the edge of Shawnee National Forest in beautiful southernmost Illinois, the Old Bethlehem School was once a one room schoolhouse, but not a 3 bedroom cottage. It also has a fully equipped eat-in kitchen, living room, and bath.

Miss Carris's Cottage has a spacious upstairs bedroom with sloped wooden ceilings and floors, a toilet stall and pedestal sink in the bedroom. Downstairs you will find a large living room and fully equipped eat-in kitchen, and full bath with shower.

The Boys' Room Apartment features a bedroom, multipurpose room with a sofa, t.v., sink, microwave, coffeepot, toaster, and small refrigerator.

Scenic views of Shawnee National Forest from the lawn. All our accommodations feature outside porches or decks to enjoy the surrounding beauty.
