Our Villa Style Garden Apartment is away from main roads and has views to the mountains and the village of El Roque. The apartment which takes up the whole corner of this moorish style bulding has a covered south facing terrace to the front with large gardens to the side. We are well situated for the fabulous beaches of El Cotillo with the bars and restaurants all within 5 or so minutes walk away. Our apartment terrace has the sun from morning till evening. The apartment has been newly furnished and decorated to a high standard and would be the ideal holiday retreat for couples wishing to get away from it all.
We have a good size bedroom with double bed, large fitted wardrobes with plenty of hangers and side cabinets with lamps. A window and door to rear terrace and garden.
The bathroom is tastefully tiled with natural light through opaque window. There is a good size bath with shower over, large sink, bidet and lighted mirror with shaving point.
The kitchen area is spacious and fully equipped with oven/hob/extractor, microwave oven, toaster, kettle, coffee percolator etc. We have a full compliment of utensils, plates, glasses etc for most cooking needs.
There is a utility room which houses terrace chairs, beach parasol, wind breaker, ironing board/iron. etc.
The living/dining area is open plan and spacious where you will not feel cramped but very comfortable, with a roomy feel. There is a double settee, glass coffee table, comfortable armchair, large flat screen TV (40in) with various tv stations.
The apartment is cleaned with all linen and towels supplied (including beach towels) Linen and towels are changed on a weekly basis unless otherwise instructed, in this case there would be an extra payment.
Local Area InformationWe have French doors that open on to the private terrace from the lounge area where you can walk around on to the garden. The gardens and terrace look out over the large plain with views to El Roque and the mountains. The terrace has a table and chairs with parasol where we get the sunshine all day!
Having a drink on the terrace before wandering off into the village for your favourite tapas is the perfect end to a lazy day on one of the many beaches around El Cotillo.
The most beautiful beaches and lagoons can be easily walked to from our apartment in 5 minutes or so or, if you prefer to drive parking is easy and you may want to go further along the coast to find your own piece of beach.
El Cotillo has all types of beaches to suit everyone whether you want to get away and relax on your own or go to the more exhilarating beach where you can tackle the large waves.
The airport is approximately 25km away with the busier villge/town of Corralejo where you can find lots of bars and shops around 15km away.
Corralejo has a very nice harbour with bars dotted around and a live music square. The closest Golf is at Calete De Fuste 35km.
El Cotillo has local grocery shops that we try to support where you will pick up most of what you need, or a larger supermarket on the way in to El Cotillo.
There are a couple of banks in El Cotillo with cash machines where you can access money 24 hours. You will find the local bars are very reasonable and nearly all do tapas. The village has two harbours one being the old harbour and the other which is now used for bringing the fresh fish in every day. The old harbour has a few bars and restaurants around, one of which is El Tosten Bar that is very popular with frequent visitors to El Cotillo.
Some restaurants to make a note of are: La Rustica (nr Caja bank) - La Mirador (old harbour) Canales Cafe (Lajares village) For Tapas: Accoraldo and Marea Alta (El Cotillo). If you are feeling energetic you can hire a bike from the local store or maybe quad biking from the new harbour. There are some wonderful walks along the beaches that go on for miles.

Prices are based on 2 adults staying for 1 week or 2 weeks unless otherwise agreed. £50 deposit is required for 1 week and £100 for a 2 week stay.
An email booking form will be sent requiring names and address of travellers.
We will send keys (£10 refundable deposit) with information pack on receipt of final payment which will be due six weeks before travel.
Officially, the apartment will be ready by 3.00pm and needs to be vacated by 10.00am. on day of departure. We will accommodate late/early arrivals where possible.|
