Remodeled cottage in one of Vermont's most scenic areas in Fletcher/Jeffersonville, near Smugglers Notch resort area. We provide a rowboat or canoe for your use. Great fishing and swimming, or just a nice place to get away. Swimming area is shallow, safe for young children. Cottage has full kitchen. "Master" bedroom has one full-size bed; second dorm-style bedroom has three full size beds. Additional day-bed downstairs. Full bath downstairs, half-bath (toilet and sink) upstairs. Patio with charcoal grill. Clothes washer/dryer in outbuilding. We supply all towels and linens, even stock the fridge with foods for breakfasts, so its' almost like an unhosted bed-and-breakfast.
Local Area InformationLocal drives through scenic areas, a nearby riding stable, a nearby winery with tastings, a corn maze, many other country attractions. Many people use the cottage as home-base for visiting attractions throughout Vermont, such as the Shelburne Museum, Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Factory, Vermont Teddy Bears, etc. Others just use it as a quiet getaway in a lovely place.
