Stouffer Mill Bed & Breakfast Getaway is situated on a 136 acre estate and offers a peaceful, quiet and relaxing stay for our guests. Our unique, 12 sided, post & beam home with suspended rooms and furnished with Canadiana antiques and primitives, has a beautiful panoramic view of Halls Lake. The 3 guest rooms have private baths and sliding patio doors out to their own little private deck. The year round hot tub in the roof top solarium with a 360o view of the surrounding forest and lake, soothes and relaxes you after a day of touring the spectacular Haliburton Highlands and Algonquin Park. A few steps from your room is the entrance to our 5 Km's of nature trails (3 loops) that take you out to a large beaver pond. There is a moose with her yearling on the property, and the first guest that brings us a good picture of them, will get a free nights stay. A few weeks ago, a couple from England went out on their deck and saw them below in the gardens. We are proud of our special, home baked, 4 course breakfasts (included in your room rate). Local Area Information

We are close to Algonquin Park where you can rent canoes or go on one of the numerous trail walks with breathtaking vistas of lakes and valleys far below. At The Haliburton Forest and Wildlife Reserve you can view wolves in their natural habitat and enjoy the "Walk in the Clouds" which is a nature walk on a suspended walkway from tree-top to tree-top. You are looking at the forest below as the birds see it. (Must reserve in advance....contact us for information)
