A beautiful 3 bedroom house overlooking the Georgia Strait and Gabriola Island. All the amenities, fridge,stove, washer and dryer, Etc. Large sundeck on large grassed lot, semi waterfront. There is a walk on ferry every hour from 7a.m. sto 11pm that connects Protection Island to Downtown Nanaimo. 10 minute ride. The method of tpt. on the Island is mostly golf cart or bicycle. There are 4 bicycles available for use at no cost.
Local Area InformationLots of fishing, water sports , hiking on Newcastle Island right next door which can be walked to at low tide, Newcastle is a provincial park. Nanaimo has one of the most beautiful harbour front walkways on the coast with lots of activities throughout the year , a Library, shopping mall (Harbour Centre) and Performing Arts Centre at the Nanaimo ferry connection. But most of all you will enjoy the peace and quiet and viewing the wildlife, eagles and deer.
