It is large, airy and open plan. It enjoys its own kitchen, bathroom and private entrance way, so you will feel independent. The Kitchen is stocked with everything you need to make coffee and tea. If you wish to stock the fridge further, you can also cook at home. It's entirely up to you!
The whole building has been beautifully renovated recently and dates back from the early 20th Century. It is located on a canal side (with a small park as well to the front side of the building), so you can see the boats pass by while you have a nice glass of wine. The studio forms the top area of the building with good views from all sides.

About Local RestaurantsFrance is about doing lunch. There is a traditional charentais family restaurant in Bardenac, and for 11 euros you can eat as much as you want(including wine). Sunday lunch is 18 euros, but you'll hace to go into training!! There are many village fetes which you will see advertised, often by the roadside. Few restaurants are open in the evenings, but the chateau in chalais is very good.

The studio is situated on the edge of the Jordaan (walking distance from Central Station), historic neighbourhood with beautiful canals, shopping, open markets, charming cafe, coffee shops and the famous Anne Frank House, among others. Trams and buses are on your doorsteps, though you are walking distance to everywhere, the Dam Square, the Red Light District, the main museums and night life.
