Property Description
Completed in late 2004, our 3 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment is bright and spacious and just 10 minutes walk from the marina. The apartment has marble floors, a large terrace area overlooking the swimming pools and gardens as can be seen from the photographs below, a fully equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer etc., and spacious lounge/diner with television and CD player and with patio doors to the south facing terrace. Six people can be accommodated in comfort in one double and two twin rooms.
Local Area InformationEstepona is a truly privileged town. Located on the western Costa del Sol it offers the visitor an unrivaled array of attractions,with more than 30 kilometres of carefully maintained sandy beaches. Some wild and dramatic, others tranquil with their waterside restaurants (Chiringuitos). Glorious summers and mild winters make it the perfect holiday destination for the discerning traveler.
Estepona is a sporting paradise. Water skiing, parascending, sub-aqua diving. Tennis and squash. Cycling and walking. Hunting and fishing. A sports marina harbours yachts and power boats. Cristalline swimming pools and after exertion relaxation.
There are also four GOLF COURSES in Estepona and more than 30 on the Costa del Sol.
If, however, you are seeking rest and relaxation, Estepona is the perfect choice. The pace of life here is more gentle than many of the other Costa Del Sol resorts and the restaurants are excellent and varied with choices to suit all palettes. Due to its geographical location, Esteponan cuisine is distinguished within the traditional offer of Andalusian cuisine by its clear preference for fresh sea produce. Some of the most typical dishes in Estepona are "country soup" representing the men who work the land, and "barbecued sardines" offered traditionally at the popular "moragas" held on the beach. Another typical Esteponan dish is tile-baked sardines, or "sardinas a la teja". The area's prawns are also highly valued, as is the octopus, which is one of the most abundant species caught locally, not forgetting the highly esteemed red mullet. All these "marine delicacies" may be savored whilst enjoying the healthy and popular custom of "tapaing" in the typical inns and taverns spread along the streets of the old town centre of Estepona and the Fisherman's Port. The restaurants in Estepona district number more than a hundred, differing widely in their gastronomic offerings, from the region's very own Andalusian cuisine to the French haute cuisine, Chinese, Italian, Indian and of course the oft named international cuisine.
Steeped in history and culture the town remains unspoiled and future development is carefully planned to ensure the preservation of the town´s identity.
