Down a country lane just a short drive from the resort and beach at Carvoeiro with a restaurant conveniently located close by the driveway. Set in walled grounds with a large swimming pool and broad sun terracing plus a distinctive arched and shaded dining terrace from which to make the most of this lovely setting over a glass or two of Vinho Verde. This large, detached villa is traditional in style and decor with good-size rooms using dark wood furnishings. The lounge has a log fire and a second lounge upstairs leads out to a lovely private terrace which enjoys superb sea views.

Local Area Information

The picturesque, white-washed popular resort of Carvoeiro stretches along the coastline encompassing Algar Seco and Centeanes beach. We have a range of villas and apartments in Carvoeiro, which has retained its charm and is still predominantly a fishing village with a bustling, friendly atmosphere. Most activity revolves around the beach and the main square, with plentiful restaurants offering varied dishes, "Caldeirada"(fish stew) being a delicious speciality. The main beach of Carvoeiro (pronounced Carv-ware-oh), situated near the main square is sandy, rocky on the shoreline and sheltered by cliffs in parts with good facilities. There are three other smaller cove beaches in the area which, whilst having steep access, offer more seclusion. The resort also has numerous bars some offering live entertainment making for a lively night life centred around the main beach. There is a daily fresh fruit and vegetable market in the resort itself and anotehr in Lagoa which is a short drive - just under five kilometres away. At the uppermost extremity of the resort are the spectacular Algar Seco rock formations. The resort is also an ideal base for visiting the Moorish capital of Silves and the spas at Caldas. Journey time from Faro approx 50 minutes.
