This stunning property is a well-appointed contemporary self-catering holiday let set within the wonderful Warwickshire countryside between Stratford-upon-Avon (6 miles) and Henley-in-Arden (5 miles). Privately located it is perfect for an idyllic group getaway surrounded by unspoilt farmland views and way-marked walks and bridleways right from your doorstep. The area is steeped in Shakespearean history from the local pub that served Shakespeare s parents wedding breakfast to the local town of Stratford-upon-Avon which houses Shakespeare s birthplace and the Royal Shakespeare Company. The county town of Warwick with its medieval castle and riverside park is just 9 miles away. This location is ideal for walkers cyclists and those wishing to explore local Warwickshire towns and villages such as Aston Cantlow (2.5 miles) Wilmcote (4 miles) and Wooton Wawen (3.5 miles). All are great to visit to pick up local produce visit tourist attractions or enjoy a drink at a welcoming pub. Fabulous views of local farmland can be admired as you make your way up the farm track. Upon entry via the main entrance the generously sized hallway provides an abundance of space for coats shoes and boots. The kitchen area with an island that s perfect for food preparation is well equipped with everything you need to whip up delicious meals. The utility room with its washer/dryer is accessed from the kitchen. The lounge area is complemented with comfortable sofas and a Smart TV and the dining area has tables and seating enough to fit 14 in comfort. It is from the dining table that you are able to peek into the swimming pool area through the specially designed windows. The property is also a Loxone Show Home and contains an element of home automation. There are various lighting scenes for you to choose from within each room temperatures are automatically controlled and the ceiling speakers within the living room can connect to your media to provide you with your choice of music. Two patio doors on either side of the fireplace provide entry onto the sweeping patio which runs the whole length of the barn. Penpedwast Lower Barn is set in 150 acres of rolling farmland and woodland near Newport within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. A bird and wildlife paradise, there are regular sightings of badgers, foxes, buzzards and red kites. This stunning barn conversion has been renovated with fine attention to detail. The cottage is stylish and contemporary with slate flooring throughout, superior quality furnishings and fittings. Lower Barn is one of two cottages at Penpedwast, a peaceful setting in an area entwined by footpaths giving wonderful walks, with links to Pengelli Forest. Nearby attractions include the Pentre Ifan burial chamber, the most famous of all Neolithic structures which has stood there for more than 4000 years; Castell Henllys, within walking distance of Penpedwast, a reconstructed Iron Age hillfort, complete with roundhouses; and the Preseli Hills, thought to be the source of the Stonehenge bluestones. Nearby are the villages of Nevern, popular for its riverside location and Norman Church, Felindre Farchog and Newport, set on the estuary where the river Nevern meets the sea with a beautiful sandy beach and a good range of shops, pubs and restaurants. In the opposite direction lies the bustling market town of Cardigan with more shops, eating places and a thriving theatre/cinema complex. As well as walking the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and the moorland trails of the Preseli Hills, activities nearby include horse riding, golf, tennis, sea and freshwater fishing, kayaking and cycling.
